In celebration of our 4 Year Anniversary, we will for the first time, release a new beer at the brewery that will be available commercially.
What’s the 4 Year Anniversary Beer? It’s Always Something. This beer marks the first in what will be a series of beers we will release over the coming years. Version one of It’s Always Something will most closely resemble a Belgian Abbey Ale. We’ll use our Great Scot! as the basis for this beer, but add plenty of dark Belgian candi sugar and ferment with Trappist High Gravity yeast, which will give It’s Always the unmistakable characteristics of Belgian brewed beer.
As for the name itself, we’ve heard countless other brewers, businesses, and individuals respond with “It’s Always Something,” when receiving bad news. We’ve uttered it numerous times ourselves throughout our 4 years. Most recently, after finishing our 2015 expansion, a power line blew up outside our brewery, engulfed 2 brewery vehicles in flames, and caused significant damage to the exterior of our building. Rather than dwell on a bad situation, we focus on responding in a positive manner and overcoming the obstacle. Our 4 Year Anniversary logo pokes fun at some challenges we’ve faced over our 4 years of brewing while incorporating many successes that followed.
