We’re raising a pint (and maybe lacing up our running shoes) — the Dallas Observer has named our annual Velvet Hammer 5K the Best 5K in Dallas!
What started as a fun way to celebrate our flagship beer has grown into one of the most unique running events in the city. Each year, runners, walkers, and beer lovers alike take on 3.1 miles before enjoying a well-earned pint of Velvet Hammer at the finish line.
It’s more than just a race — it’s a celebration of community, fitness, and of course, craft beer. From the high-fives at the starting line to the post-race party back at the brewery, this event has become one of our favorite traditions of the year.
