Notes of tobacco\, chocolate\, and malt sweetness give way to a slow building warming sensation imparted by the infamous ghost pepper chili. Consistent with our brewing philosophy\, we deliver flavors associated with the ghost pepper in a subtle manner so as to enhance the underlying character of our traditional Alfred Brown. You’ll recognize the ghost pepper’s presence with your first sip\, but the uniqueness of this beer shines as you empty your glass. Expect to experience a growing\, yet always pleasant\, sensation of warmth on the palate\, in the throat and down to the stomach. The Ghost of Alfred Brown will continue to haunt you even after you’ve moved on. A slow burn never tasted so good. \nEnjoy Halloween with the Ghost of Alfred Brown. On the third Thursday of every month\, Peticolas Brewing Company will donate a 15% of beer sales to a local nonprofit. We are also proud to announce that we’ll add bingo. For a $3 donation you get 5 bingo cards. We’ll have two rounds of three games. Bingo will start at 6 and 8pm. \nThis month’s event will benefit TEXSAR. \nTexas Search & Rescue is a group of dedicated members who deploy at the request of local and state law enforcement\, fire service and emergency management agencies\, the Office of the Governor\, and relief organizations to act as a force multiplier\, all at NO COST to the requesting agency. Volunteer members fund almost all of their own gear and training\, and they are able to offset some of it through fundraising events and the generosity of private donors and corporate sponsors. \nThey are different from other volunteer search and rescue teams\, including others located in North Texas in that they are professionally trained and third-party certified. Their self-sufficient deployment capabilities are extensive: \n– K9 Search\, Rescue & Recovery\n– Ground Search & Rescue\n– Air/Helo/Drone Search\n– Flood & Swiftwater Rescue\n– Wildland Fire\n– Dive Recovery\n– Medical Support\, including Wilderness & Remote Medicine\n– Incident Management\n– Disaster Recovery & Relief\n– Lost Person Behavior & Analysis\n– Evidence Search & Preservation\n– Active & Cold Case Consultations \nFunding needs have increased dramatically after unprecedented demand for services during and after Hurricane Harvey\, and TEXSAR continues to aid in missing person searches\, community disasters and the closing of cold cases across Texas. \nStop by the brewery on Thursday\, October 18th\, from 3:00 until 10:00 for a beer and to learn more about TEXSAR and what they’re doing to help our community! Again 15% of beer sales plus all of the donations from bingo are going straight TEXSAR\, help them make a difference.
