It’s Always Something.  This beer marks the first in what will be a series of beers we will release over the coming years.  Version one of It’s Always Something will most closely resemble a Belgian Abbey Ale.  We’ll use our Great Scot! as the basis for this beer\, but add plenty of dark Belgian candi sugar and ferment with Trappist High Gravity yeast\, which will give It’s Always the unmistakable characteristics of Belgian brewed beer. \nAs for the name itself\, we’ve heard countless other brewers\, businesses\, and individuals respond with “It’s Always Something\,” when receiving bad news.  We’ve uttered it numerous times ourselves throughout our 4 years.  Most recently\, after finishing our 2015 expansion\, a power line blew up outside our brewery\, engulfed 2 brewery vehicles in flames\, and caused significant damage to the exterior of our building.  Rather than dwell on a bad situation\, we focus on responding in a positive manner and overcoming the obstacle.  Our 4 Year Anniversary logo pokes fun at some  challenges we’ve faced over our 4 years of brewing while incorporating many successes that followed. \nWhen: December 26\, 2015 (Boxing Day) \nTickets for SESSION 1: 12:00-3:00 (limited to 300) \nTickets for SESSION 2: 5:00-8:00 (limited to 300) \nFood truck: For the Love of Pizza \nCost: $40\, which includes a commemorative glass and samples of the following beers: \nNEW RELEASE BEER \nIt’s Always Something \nAGED BEERS WITH LIMTED SAMPLING (i.e.\, at one sample of each): \n2012 Great Scot! \n2013 Great Scot! \n2014 Great Scot! \n2015 Great Scot! \n2013 The DUKE \n2014 The DUKE \n2015 The DUKE \n2014 Sledge Hammer \n2013 Black Curtains \nBEERS WITHOUT SAMPLE LIMITS (although we will quite simply refuse to serve anyone showing signs of intoxication): \nVelvet Hammer \nAlfred Brown \nGhost of Alfred Brown \nWintervention \nSit Down or I’ll Sit You Down \nA Lost Epic \nIrish Goodbye \nGolden Opportunity \nRoyal Scandal \nCASKS (currently unknown as to which casks will appear at which session – rest assured that each session will feature some great cask beer). \nWintervention with raspberries \nWintervention with blackberries \nWintervention with cocao nibs \nWintervention with vanilla bean \nGhost of Alfred Brown with one ghost pepper \nGhost of Alfred Brown with two ghost peppers \nGhost of Alfred Brown with three ghost peppers \nSit Down or I’ll Sit You Down with papaya \nSit Down or I’ll Sit You Down with experimental hop 07270 URL:https://www.peticolasbrewing.com/event/4-year-anniversary LOCATION:Peticolas Brewing Company Taproom\, 1301 Pace Street\, Dallas\, TX\, 75207\, United States ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://www.peticolasbrewing.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/4.year_.anniv_1.jpg END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
