To Join our team you have to…
Have an understanding of basic brewing theory and a willingness to learn our processes and procedures. Having gone through a formal brewing program or previous brewery experience is a plus but not a deal breaker.
Be reliable and flexible with daily and/or nightly schedules which may include weekends.
Have the ability to react calmly and efficiently on the fly when things go wrong (“It’s always something”).
Enjoy cleaning. We leave the brewery each night the way we found it in the morning, clean and organized.
Have a basic understanding of draft dispense.
Be a good communicator. Everyone needs to be on the same page or accidents can happen and beer can be ruined.
Pay attention to detail be able to multitask. We are routinely doing six or seven things at one time and generally all of them are critical in nature.
Recognize and be happy to help co-workers when they are in the weeds.
Be honest, friendly and down to earth.
To Join our team you must be able to…
Lift 55 lb bags of grain.
Hand stir a mash to perfect temperature and consistency.
Empty a mash tun or two (or three) by hand. There are no rakes in our brew house.
Enter the mash tun after you’ve emptied it and hand clean the four plates that make up the false bottom. This requires removing them one by one to clean all surfaces of the plates….it can get a little awkward.
Lift 160 lb kegs safely.
Be able to operate in a very tough environment doing extremely physical work which can be amplified by outside weather conditions.
Be comfortable in tight spaces.
Safely use folding and extension ladders.

Assisting with cellaring
Enjoying the fruits of your labor
