So you want to work in the Peticolas Brewing Company Taproom?  Good call.

To join our team, you must…

Be an energetic and friendly individual with a passion for craft beer and outstanding customer service.

Currently we are looking for a part-time employee to work Thursday thru Sunday with hours as early as 11 am and as late as 10 pm. Occasional event work may be available also.

Job duties will be focused around the tap room and lending a hand during brewery events.

To join our team, you must be able to…

  • Serve and talk about the beer in our tap room – A passion for the craft beer industry is a must! Craft beer knowledge and previous serving experience is a major plus.
  • Interact with customers – Customer service is our #1 priority. A professional and positive attitude are a must! Experience with face-to-face customer service is a plus.
  • Maintain & troubleshoot draft dispense equipment – Must be a quick learner and willing/able to handle kegs.
  • Conduct tours and tell the “Peticolas Brewing Company story” (don’t worry…we’ll teach ya) – Bring a fun, upbeat & enthusiastic personality to the table and we can show you the rest!
  • Maintain cleanliness of the tap room – Must be a self-starter and willing to help where we needed.
  • React quickly and solve problems
  • Be a positive representative for our brewery.
  • All employees will be required to be TABC certified upon hiring.

We work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, where hard work and working well with others is paramount. Although we work hard, we play hard as well and enjoy a time with family and friends.   Healthy and outdoor lifestyles are encouraged at our brewery.

If you get the job, you’ll be expected to…

  • Demonstrate knowledge of craft beer styles and the craft brewing process.
  • Exceed customer expectations by creating an emotional bond that reinforces our brand position and strategy, which includes knowledge and explanation of who we are, what we are about, and most importantly, our beer. Must have engaging communication skills and get along well with others.
  • Be available for a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Work long shifts and stand for long periods of time and must be able to lift and carry 45 lbs. and move 160 lbs.
  • Remain calm, flexible, and provide exceptional customer service while working through high-volume situations.
  • Process cash and credit card payments via our point of sale system. The position requires the safe and honest handling of money and keeping accurate tabs.
  • Operate draft dispense systems.
  • Perform tasks to ensure clean bar operations including glass washing, sweeping and mopping floors, straightening/cleaning tables/bar, cleaning restrooms and other duties typical of taproom operations.
