Two of Peticolas Brewing Company’s flagship beers have once again earned national recognition at the 2026 U.S. Open Beer Championship.
Velvet Hammer captured a medal in the Imperial Red Ale category, while Royal Scandal was recognized in the English Pale Ale category—two styles that have become synonymous with Peticolas since the brewery’s earliest days.
For us, these awards reinforce what we’ve believed from the beginning: great beer starts with brewing classic styles exceptionally well. We’re grateful to see both beers recognized on the national stage and look forward to sharing another pint with you soon.
